Our People

Our Story...

"We want every parent to feel the way we do when we drop our children off at The Willows… we want you to feel like you are leaving them with family."

Our Story

To us, family is everything.  We are passionate about creating Early Childhood Centres that reflect the family values that were instilled upon us as we grew up in small town New Zealand.

We have a vision of creating places that are full of love, laughter and learning.

Every decision we make comes from the heart.  Our aim is to provide beautiful spaces that are full of happy, nurtured and challenged children.

Equally, we truly care about our team. We believe in a culture of gratitude and appreciation, and in valuing and celebrating teachers as well as children for their individual differences.

With 3 young children ourselves, we know that choosing an Early Childhood Centre is hard.  We also know that trusting your precious little ones in someone else’s care is harder.

We aim to make this decision as easy as possible.  We want to take away the fear and to replace it with a feeling of security and excitement.

We hope that you will enjoy the experience from the moment you walk in our doors.  Come in and discover the difference.

Owners

One of the main reasons we chose The Willows was the welcoming feel of the Centre and their focus on family. We love that it is locally owned and operated and not a big chain.

Meet Our Team...

It is the strength of our team that makes our Centre great.

That’s why recruitment and culture is a big deal to us.  We spend a lot of time making sure that any new teacher to our team is the ‘right fit’ for The Willows.  We know that every teacher we employ has values that align with ours.  We know they will have relevant skills and experience, that they will bring something unique to our team, and that they will put the children in their care before anything else.
